NRHI TCoC Site Expansion RFP - June 1, 2015 Deadline

There have been a few updates regarding the recently distributed NRHI TCoC Site Expansion RFP. Updates are detailed below.

Site Expansion Request for Proposal Webinar Now Posted

NRHI staff and five panelists from the original pilot sites hosted a TCoC Site Expansion RFP webinar and answered questions live from the audience.  Over 50 participants joined the webinar to hear more about the background, requirements and expectations of the RFP. The webinar was recorded for those who were not able attend, and as a resource to those considering applying. You can find the webinar on the TCoC page of the NRHI website.

Questions asked and answered during the webinar have been added to the FAQ document and are also available on the website.  We have recently posted an update to the FAQs in light of new information regarding non-profit status.  The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has confirmed that the non-profit status requirement will no longer be enforced as part of this RFP.  We continue to update the FAQs daily, please check back regularly.  New questions can be submitted through the web form

RFP Submission Deadline Extended to midnight, June 1

A deadline extension was announced during the webinar and noted on the TCoC page of the NRHI website. We appreciate the concern about the original timeline and decided to extend the submission deadline. We hope this will allow for more thorough responses, and the potential formation of partnerships. The deadline has been extended by an additional 10 calendar days (5 business days given the Memorial Day holiday). The revised timeline is as follows, and additional extensions cannot be granted.

  • Deadline for Proposal Submission:  Midnight, Monday June 1, 2015
  • Applicants Notified of Selection:  No later than Monday, June 15, 2015
  • A virtual kickoff meeting for the Original Pilot Team and Expansion Sites will be held in late June, all sites (original and newly selected) should plan to attend.
  • This reduces the working period to 16 months, however the expectations and deliverables have not changed.
