Deputy Chief Information Officer/Director of Information Management and Governance

The information technology unit at CHIA is looking for an experienced leader to manage the newly created Information Management and Governance department.  This group consists of our PMO office, data warehouse analysis, business requirements, and data compliance teams.  We are specifically looking for someone to help mature our processes around business requirements, data governance, end user documentation and knowledge management.

The successful candidate can step into a lead role during the execution of several mission critical data enrichment projects and immediately add value to CHIA’s initiatives.  S/he will have extensive experience working in information/data centric environments and understand data governance and data stewardship principles.  They will also have experience with end user documentation and will guide our external releases.  This position reports to CHIA’s Chief Information Officer and will lead multiple managers and directors in a group of twenty-five full time and vendor employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • 12 years’ work experience in the information technology field
  • 3 years’ experience working in the healthcare industry
  • 5 years’ experience working with data end users in a support or solution delivery capacity
  • 3 years’ experience performing process improvement or design with specific project management, quality assurance, and business requirements experience
  • Direct working experience with/for data governance and data stewardship organizations supporting for a large data warehouse
