Financial Analyst - Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA)

Want to use your finance and accounting skills on the cutting edge of health care reform?

CHIA’s Finance Unit is seeking a Financial Analyst who is excited about working in a team atmosphere to help realize the agency’s fiscal goals.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and processing of procurements, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.  Additionally, s/he will play a key role in budget forecasting, submission of the agency’s annual spending plan and budget request, federal grant reporting, as well as general fiscal/operational oversight and other tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a major in business administration, business management, accounting, finance or other related field
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of the Commonwealth’s finance rules and regulations
  • Experience using the Massachusetts Management Accounting and Reporting System (MMARS) and
  • Familiarity with the Commonwealth’s procurement rules and regulations
