The Health Economics Program of the Minnesota Department of Health is hiring a Research Scientist 2 (up to two positions may be filled). The candidate will support and promote critical health services research by administering the Minnesota All Payer Claims Database (MN APCD), Minnesota Hospital Discharge Database (MN HDD), and other administrative data sources. The candidate will join a talented team dedicated to informing statewide health policy and focus on the collection and effective use of dental claims and non-claims-based data collected in the MN APCD. This work includes creating and implementing data quality frameworks and complex data validation systems, developing data capacity and quality improvement initiatives, leading and coordinating data management and compliance processes, generating comprehensive technical and user-support documentation to promote new data sharing initiatives, and developing and maintaining dashboards.
