The Health Systems Epidemiologist position supports the NM Department of Health's efforts designing and implementing an All Payers Claims Database (APCD) and the Emergency Department Visits Dataset. This position will engage and build relationships to identify and prioritize use cases for an APCD. The position will also build relationships with Emergency Departments to collect annual data and provide technical expertise and knowledge sharing to stakeholders throughout NM. This position designs, develops, and conducts epidemiological investigations and research utilizing the APCD and Emergency Department Visits Data.
