The Health Economics Program of the Minnesota Department of Health is hiring an Operations Supervisor to oversee a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and planners. The candidate will manage critical data systems, improve data governance and communication to ensure Minnesota leads the way in health care data innovation. Key focus will be the state’s most critical health care data collections, including the Minnesota All Payer Claims Database (MN APCD), the Minnesota Hospital Discharge Data, and the state’s Medicare fee-for-service claims. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, the candidate will manage data collection and vendor relationships, implement data management best practices, act as communications lead with data submitters, and lead a talented team dedicated to preparing data for actionable insights aimed at better outcomes in public health, access and health care affordability.
