Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Consultant. The Senior Consultant is a strong leader who partners with our clients to set a project vision, clearly articulates each team member’s role in achieving it, and drives the project forward while navigating evolving priorities. Reporting to a Principal Consultant, you will help lead an important and growing portfolio of projects – all within a single State - related to executing the state’s vision for integrated, meaningful, and actionable health and human services databases sand the associated analytic priorities.
This Senior Consultant initially will focus on serving as the FHC Project Director for the Rhode Island Data Ecosystem – an integrated database that links information across ten Rhode Island state agencies and additional partner organizations. Originally established as an internal state resource, the RI Data Ecosystem has matured into a one-of-a-kind, vital asset for state and non-state partners. Data from the RI Ecosystem is used by government officials, researchers, healthcare providers, health insurers, and others to identify trends across populations and time and examine priority research areas such as economic opportunity, opioid use, homelessness, healthcare access and outcomes, and education. In this role, you will mentor and directly supervise 2-4 Project Managers and lead a growing, cross-functional project team. You will work closely with the State to explore opportunities for maturing the program, both in scope and efficiency, and will continuously identify opportunities for FHC to better serve the client. Your expertise in health data project design and management combined with your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will be instrumental in supporting the State in achieving its goals.
