As the firm continues to expand its scope of services, FHC is seeking a Health Data Analyst to join the team. 

Job Responsibilities:

To provide evidence based insights into the complexities and intricacies of health care data and performance measurement. To coordinate and participate in client and internal meetings and deliverables. 

Key responsibilities:  

  • Serve on a variety of project teams for engagements  with clients from the public and private sectors (state policy makers, regional collaboratives, healthcare providers, commercial payers)

  • With guidance from subject matter experts, develop and coordinate all phases of quantitative deliverables, including drafting the analysis plan, performing the analysis, interpreting results, and presenting recommendations;

  • Manage, validate, and analyze large datasets that may contain sensitive health information;

  • Maintain the integrity, security, and quality of the data throughout project duration;

  • Display and interpret data in clear and concise tables, graphics and reports;

  • Conduct research, gather information, and prepare written summaries, memos, or briefing documents;

  • Prepare and revise drafts of presentations and reports; and

  • Attend client meetings in person and via telephone to advise on data strategy and present results of analyses.

Qualifications:

 

·        3+ years of experience working with health data or related analytics

 

 

 

·        Minimum of BA or BS in Mathematics, Economics, or related field

 

  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills

  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple work streams, clients and analyses

  • Experience cleaning and validating data

  • Understanding of health care claims data and general health care landscape.

 

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, Power Point and Word. Knowledge of SAS, SPSS, STATA or R preferred.

 

 

 

·        Knowledge of Tableau and health care quality measurement a plus.
