As the organization continues to grow, we are seeking a senior consultant with passion and deep experience in one or more of FHC’s core areas of expertise. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, as well as an ability to work well with a skilled team. We are seeking candidates who are creative and adaptable thinkers, able to develop pragmatic solutions to difficult problems.

Director/Senior Consultant Role
This seasoned subject matter expert will report to the Principal of Freedman Healthcare (FHC), the Director/Senior Consultant is responsible for bringing subject matter expertise that complements FHC’s mission and core competencies, and for driving new business to the firm.
 
Responsibilities may include:

  • Provide and oversee the provision of exceptional subject matter advice to clients in the subject matters within the competencies and experience of the Director/Senior Consultant.
  • Develop and lead major projects and long term collaborations with FHC clients.
  • Collaborate in business expansion through prospect research and leveraging relationships
  • Provide expert consultation, analysis, and complex project leadership to FHC.
  • Oversee the drafting of or draft scope of service provisions of contracts, business agreements and proposals necessary to secure new work and document service and compensation expectations of parties/clients, subject to review by FHC’s principal.
  • Oversee and deliver client presentations and site visits.

Qualifications: 

  • A Masters degree or higher in business, health policy, public health, or related field.
  • Senior-level experience in the health data or health policy field, with a focus on performance measurement and improvement, health IT, or business strategy
  • Substantial project oversight skills and strategic management experience in program management, design and development, and review and evaluation.
  • Proven experience and success in business development.
  • Demonstrated success in managing executive level business dealings and provide expert subject matter advice.
  • Excellent organizational skills, effective communication skills (oral and written), and the ability to multi-task and work under deadlines.
