The Payer Typology Committee will hold a Source of Payment Typology (SOP) Interim Coordination and Maintenance Meeting on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm ET)
. This meeting provides an opportunity for interested parties to request changes or additions to the Source of Payment Typology. The Source of Payment Typology is a payer type standard that provides a mechanism for consistent reporting of payer data to public health agencies for health care services and research. The Source of Payment Typology also provides a standard for use by those collecting data or analyzing health care information. It was created by the former PHDSC Payer Typology Subcommittee, and is now in the process of transition to a new host.  Attached is the most recent version (8.0) of the Source of Payment Typology and the User’s Guide.

 

Please register to attend the meeting and/or submit your suggested modifications by completing and submitting the Payer Typology Feedback form that is attached. All comments will need to be submitted by Friday, November 2nd, 2018.
