The Quality Reporting Workgroup (QRW) was formed in the Mid 2005 in response to numerous requests for technical assistance regarding quality measurement initiatives. The QRW consists of members from NAHDO staff, state representatives, hospital associations, business coalitions, private data organizations, vendors and consultants. The group is charged with facilitating cross-state exchange of quality reporting initiatives, assisting states implement such intitiatives, and responding to emerging demands for new measures. Funded with a three-year Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant beginning 2005, this group communicates through a listserve to share questions, concerns, bestpractices, lessons learned, and methodologies used in quality reporting. In addition, regular conference calls are conducted on 2nd or 3rd Thursdays of the month. The group have had regular conference calls since the July of 2005. The group also had an in-person workshop on issues of relevance on in Washington D.C., proceedings of which have been compiled and published.
